This portfolio website showcases select projects from my technical communication graduate coursework in the 2021-2023 academic journey at The University of North Texas. I use photos from Antelope Canyon, a natural sandstone slot canyon in Arizona, throughout my website. Unsplash images have the source attribution on the photo, others are stock art.
I am a graduate student based in Tyler, Texas, and a long-time web designer. After years of writing technical documents on the job, I am formalizing that skill to include a certification in the technical writing program at the University of North Texas. My entire career revolves around the communications industry, including newspapers, corporate advertising, television broadcast ministry, and now donor development, where I plan to use my Professional and Technical Communication degree to serve my current employer in grant writing.
When I am not tinkering with my visualizations online or other digital formats, I am out designing in my yard or craft room. I also enjoy cooking for my Cuban husband and the general mayhem when my three nephews and niece visit.
