About This Project

CONTENT MANAGEMENT & SINGLE SOURCE PROJECT The instructor paired me with another classmate for this project whom I worked with entirely via TEAMS. The pdf guides we worked with included a hardware guide (142 pages), a software configuration guide (224 pages), two appendices, and an index. We both contributed to the online knowledge base portion of the project but split the printed deliverables so her Software Guide does not appear here. We used extensive CSS styling on every aspect of the knowledge base. Our access to the online knowledge base project we created expired shortly after the course ended, so I’ve supplied screenshots of our finished product.

• a searchable knowledge base website (HTML5) with the same content as the print guides
  • topics built from DITA-inspired templates
  • DITA-based short descriptions as Meta Descriptions in all topics
  • keywords tagged in relevant topics
